lately, mason jars have become a real hit. they're vintage, cute, and multi-purpose. i have four mason jars that i made, and use them for everything and anything! keep reading to learn how to customize your own mason jar!
what you'll need:
- mason jar (any size works, just make sure your size will work for what you want it to)
- modge podge glue
- paint
- decorations
- glitter
- paint brush
steps:
1) get your mason jar, make sure it's clean and shiny
2) get the paint brush and paint the modge podge glue all over the jar
3) take whatever decorations you want (in the above i have two glitter, cut-up papers, and paint) and stick them onto the jar
4) make sure your decorations stick onto the jar
5) after that sits for a while, take the same paint brush and cover the glitter, paint, cut-up paper, etc. in the modge podge
6) let sit, and repeat step 5
and you're done!
the blue with yellow flowers jar, i use as my scissor/pencil/ruler holder. i use the cut-up paper one as a "piggy bank" and i use the glitter ones for just decoration. they're cute and affordable.
hope this d.i.y helped!
