It's been awhile, hasn’t it?

Blogging had become a chore to me, which was the farthest thing I wanted it to become. I felt like there was pressure to always post, have new and exciting content to share, and I didn’t like it.

I started this blog as a haven to put my feelings, thoughts, ideas, and work, it was supposed to be my place for what makes me, me.

Unfortunately, I began to overthink everything that had to do with this blog and I drifted away from the atmosphere that I wanted to cultivate.

I began too focused on attracting people to my blog and what you, the audience, was thinking. 

I did the opposite of what I said I would do in my very first post.I absolutely love writing this blog and I don't want to lose it because of my low confidence or insecurities of judgements made.

So, here it is—the kinkaid journals 2.0 (the name isn’t changing, LOL).

Whether I am writing about my day, or reviewing a new makeup product, writing about a revelation I had, sharing my recent adventures or anything else I want to write about, this is seriously going to be all me.

Nothing omitted, nothing held back. This is me.
